PASADENA, Calif. -- New Matter will donate more than $200,000 in MOD-t 3D printers and supplies to the 100 educational institutions that won its Educate and Inspire Grant program. “We strongly believe that 3D printing will cultivate a lifelong love of STEM subjects in students, and we are incredibly proud to participate in that experience,” said Steve Schell, CEO of New Matter. Schell also said that New Matter was “overwhelmed by the quality of applications we received.” New Matter was sent more than 450 applications.
New Matter grant recipients will each receive three MOD-t 3D printers, 15 spools of 1kg filament and 15 additional print surface plates.
