“Where do we belong?” Teenagers often ask this question as they begin to develop their sense of identity. However, students in the Long Beach Unified School District have taken this question and turned it into works of art.
From now until May 29, Long Beach high school students’ works will be featured at the Long Beach Museum of Art in a special exhibit entitled High School Exhibition - Displacement: Where Do We Belong? The 46 pieces on display are all student produced original works that tackle both political and social issues related to displacement.
