ATLANTA -- C2 Education (C2), a national network of subject tutoring, SAT®, ACT®, PSAT® test prep and education support centers, is hosting multiple events in Southern California to help students and parents get ready for a new school year.
C2 will be offering complimentary seminars and practice tests throughout August and September in the SoCal region. Practice tests will include the new SAT, new PSAT as well as the ACT. Seminars and workshops will cover topics ranging from financial aid to college admissions to the new SAT and PSAT.
These events are designed to help both students and parents prepare for college. The new, more rigorous SAT, a vital component to college applications, replaces the current SAT next spring and the PSAT, the first step to winning a National Merit Scholarship, will change this October. Knowing how critical these tests are and the amount of stress they cause students, C2 is conducting practice tests and workshops throughout the country to help parents and students prepare.
"The new SAT design is more arduous, and is causing anxiety and stress for students and parents alike," David Kim, C2 CEO, stated, adding, "The practice tests not only help alleviate tension, but also help increase scores while the building student confidence. The workshops are created to help answer the many questions concerning college preparedness and admissions." Kim also explained the Pillar Program, which not only offers the complimentary practice tests and workshops, but also includes Homework Help and the College Roadmap, a family consultation on everything one needs to know to prepare students for college acceptance.
These events are open to the public, but space is limited, so early registration is recommended. To find the event that is best for you and register, visit www.c2educate.com.
